Al Dolenti, K3ZMC, now a silent
key
Al became
a silent key on Saturday, May 12, 2001. He
had held Rooster Number 257 since May 7, 1976.

obituary:
Alfred N. Dolenti, a retired electric company worker, died Saturday, May 12,
2001, at his home in Limerick. He was 72.
Mr. Dolenti worked for the Philadelphia Electric Co.
He was member of
the Century Club, the Quarter Century Wireless Association, PART Radio Club, the
Roosters Radio Club, the Spring City Fire House, the AARP and several computer
clubs. He worked with the Montgomery County Office of Emergency
Preparedness.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Born July 18, 1928, in Bridgeport, he was a son the late Pasquale and
Antoinette (Tizzone) Dolenti.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth (Sproat) Dolenti; two sons William of
Lynchburg, Va. and David of Schwenksville; seven grandchildren; three
brothers, Ralph of Delaware, Louis of West Leesport and Patrick of
Phoenixville; a sister, Santina Beckius of Trappe; and many nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Dolenti was preceded in death by a son, John; and two brothers, Michael
and Ronald.
A
memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224
W. Main Street, Trappe. Friends
may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
