Hal Rausch, W3AHP, now a silent key

Hal died on Monday, 7/5/2004. He had held Rooster #502 since August 18, 1982. Dick K3ITH sent the following report, obituary, and pictures (from Hal's 85th birthday party).

It is with deep regret that I inform you that our friend Hal, W3AHP, passed away yesterday afternoon; he just turned 87 years old last month. Although he recently had been in the hospital with congestive heart failure, Hal was recovering well at his daughter's (Carol) house in New Jersey. His passing was really sudden and unexpected. Hal's wife passed on almost ten years ago.

Hal was active with several ham radio organizations including the Roosters and PARA for many years during the 70's, 80's, and 90's. He was on PARA's Board of Directors for at least ten years.
