2011 New Year Net

Like past years, the Net will be open from 6:00 am until 12:00 noon. The starting net control will assign a number to each station checking in, and each net control will continue to assign numbers for each check in.
The Rooster Net Control schedule for 1/1/11 is as follows:6:00 am until 6:30 am KB3LHT - Don

7:00 am until 7:30 am KB3EGL - Keith
7:30 am until 8:00 am N3AO - Carter
8:00 am until 8:30 am WJ3G - Will
8:30 am until 9:00 am WU3I - Steve
9:00 am until 9:30 am K3UYK - Joe
9:30am until 10:00 am AA3YE - Joe
10:00 am until 10:30 am KB3LOK - Sharon
10:30 am until 11:00 am K3JJC - Jim
11:00 am until 12:00 noon WB3EQW - Mike, with Hal and anyone else who wants to volunteer.
We will ask for check-ins or call the next station or number on the list, and it is normal to have second and third call ups. If and when the net becomes dull, we don't see anything wrong with stations talking back and forth, but keep it short as net control times are limited. If we just open it up, it is like closing the net and we lose control of the net for new check-ins, re-checks and others waiting to make comment. This allows for participation by more net people, and makes it possible to hear weak, or mobile stations who wish to be a part of our net starting for year 2011.
This has worked exceptionally well for the past several years.
