Once again I have to notify you about the passing of yet another Rooster. Norman Graham, KC4ESY Rooster number 808 developed difficulty breathing about 2 weeks ago. He was hospitalized and found to have a great deal of fluid in his chest cavity. After its removal he showed considerable improvement and was subsequently sent home. His breathing problems occurred again after a few days, which led to his readmission. Despite oxygen and other care, he continued to get worse. He died last night with his family assembled around him. He was 91. He was given the diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis.
Norman will certainly be missed around here. He was a kind, gentle, thoughtful and loving person. He was always considerate enough to email all the local Roosters here in the area to remind us of the monthly meeting for breakfast at Bob Evans Restaurant in Richmond, and was always there first to greet us all as we arrived.
