The Red Rose Repeater Association of Lancaster, PA lost thier repeater in a storm this past summer. As a fund raiser one of the members made a quilt, which is being audtioned off on eBay this Thanksgiving Eve. For more details go to http://www.w3rrr.org.

2008 Rooster Weekend Pictures

A web site version of the 2008 Rooster Weekend Pictures is now available for viewing. Please remember to click on each of the 154 individual pictures to enlarge and then use your browser's "back" button to return. Scroll down each web page and you will find, in the lower left-hand corner, pointer buttons to the remaining two web pages; there are a total of three web pages.

Due to the large number of pictures available for viewing, I strongly recommend downloading the slide show version per the instructions below.

Pictures from this summer's 2008 Rooster Weekend in Pennsylvania are now available for download as a slide show presentation.

Please note this slide show version has a very large zipped file size, almost 30 MB, and will take at least 10-minutes to download with a slow DSL connection; and over three hours with dial-up Internet service.

Download the file named, 2008RoosterPicnic.zip, by right clicking the file name and selecting "Save Target As ..." into a newly created directory on your desktop. Double-click this zipped file and extract all files into this same newly created directory. Scroll down to the last file and double-click the file name, slideshow.exe; and then click OK. Viewing each of the 154 photos at 5-seconds each will take almost 13-minutes to see all the pictures. Use your computer keyboard "Esc" key to stop the slide show.

2008 Picnic Picture Preview

Dick, K3ITH sent these pictures as a little tease, taken at the 2008 Rooster Picnic.

To Save the Group Photo, Just right click on Group Picture, and Save Target As, and save it to your desktop.

To Save the New Rooster Chorus Photo, right click on New Rooster Chorus Picture, and Save Target As, and save it to your desktop.

You can print these pictures on your printer, or take them to your favorite place to get photographs made.
